Artist Statement:
As a visual artist I make discrete bodies of work and they always begin with drawing – if not with ink and paper, then with a “drawing attitude”, in which am seeking the answers that I don’t already have. I start with an idea – a place – a memory – a historical event – and I gather visual and factual research into a working catalogue that I draw from and develop.
